Fanmire Conversations Series: Business Founders, Jamel Anderson and Todd Belin

The founder and CEO of Fanmire, Jamel Anderson, takes time to sit down with Todd Belin, one of NYC’s top personal trainers to discuss health, fitness and of course, sports. It was apparent to Jamel that he had to make some life changes when he found out that he had high blood pressure and Todd was able to help him get on the right track. Todd has been working in the fitness industry for over 14 years as a national certified personal trainer, fitness educator, fitness motivational speaker, fitness camp instructor, lifestyle consultant and business owner. One of the highlights of the interview is when Jamel discusses that earlier in the year, his health was brought into attention. He had dangerously high blood pressure which would later lead to severe implications if he did not make changes in his life. With this in mind, he signed up for Todd’s 28 day fitness challenge where he changed his diet and began to exercise. Not even two weeks into the program did he notice the differences in how he looked and felt. His blood pressure significantly decreased and he was able to change his trajectory. Todd goes on to explain how although the way we look and feel are connected, that looks are only temporary. In order to feel our best, we must strive to live a healthy lifestyle by consuming the right diet with regular exercise.

Obesity in America is a growing concern. According to research done by Havard School of Public Health, it is estimated that 40% of Americans are considered obese in 2020, a significant increase compared to only 18% in the previous year. This leads to increased health risks such as stroke and heart attacks. With this in mind, more than 140k Americans die each year of strokes, making it the third leading cause of death in the United States.

Fortunately, these numbers can change, but it must start by changing the numbers on your scale. As shown by Jamel, it is possible to change the trajectory of your life through a good diet and regular exercise. Thanks to Todd’s professional knowledge and years of industry experience, he was able to guide Jamel in the right direction in his fitness journey!
